If you visit or make a reservation with Strawberry Autos you accept these conditions. Please read them carefully. In addition, when you use any current or future Strawberry Autos service or visit or purchase from any business partnered with Strawberry Autos whether or not included in the Strawberry Autos Web site, you also will be subject to the guidelines and conditions applicable to such service or business.

We are totally aware that fulfilling this commitment is one of the most important services we can offer to you. We want you to consider using Strawberry Autos for your future car rental requirements as well!

We take your privacy and online security very seriously indeed. This web site is secured using a GeoTrust Digital Certificate. This ensures that all information you send to us via the World Wide Web will be encrypted. If any other Internet user intercepts the communication he/she will only be able to see it in an encrypted (garbled) form. Certificate technology allows us to decrypt the information and view it in plain text form. This is safe data transfer and you can rest assured that absolutely no one will be able to access your personal details. Alternatively, of course you can send us your credit card details by fax or telephone. Finally, we can assure you that your personal data will not be passed on in any way to third party companies.

PRIVACY POLICY

Does Strawberry Autos collect any personal information about you?
When you browse our site, we do not collect personal information about you. The only way we receive any kind of personal information is if you give it to us on a contact or reservation request page.

To book a car with us, we will require some information about you to deal with your booking as smoothly as possible. This information may include such details as your name, your address and your credit card details. We pass on your information to third parties only for the purpose of completing your transaction with us, providing the above services to you and for the purposes of associated administration.

Where is your personal information stored?
All personal information is stored in secure databases within a secure environment to prevent unauthorised access.

CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS FOR CAR RENTALS

We are well aware that changes sometimes have to be made to a holiday schedule and we will do our utmost to accommodate any changes you may want to make regarding your car rental. If you want to change the delivery location or type of car, please advise us as soon as possible. We will confirm that the requested change has been accepted and made. If there is a price difference, we will make the necessary adjustment to your payment. If you need to cancel your reservation upto 3 days before the rental period begins, you will receive a full refund, promptly and with NO charges. After this period an administration fee of € 25 will be charged

COMPLAINTS AND RESOLUTION

If you have a complaint
If you have a complaint, you must tell a Strawberry Autos representative or agent immediately.

If we cannot resolve the problem for you at the time you must write within 35 days of your return to our Customer Services Department at Strawberry World, Rua do Gorgulho, Centro Comercial Eden Mar, Loja 25, 9000-107 Funchal, Madeira - Portugal.

If you do not tell us about your complaint our ability to investigate it could be seriously hampered. Because of this, unless there is a valid reason why you did not tell us about your complaint, we will not consider ourselves liable for those complaints.

HOW YOU CAN MAKE PAYMENTS

Strawberry Autos has a wide range of options available for you to make payments. Whilst we are of the opinion that the safest possible method of payment is through our 'Safe Server', we do of course understand that not everyone uses credit cards or you may simply prefer to pay in a manner more comfortable to yourself. So here are your options:

Safe Server (SSL)
Once you have made a reservation you will be directed to a page on our 'Safe Server' which utilises high grade encryption. You can enter and send us your credit card details with total security. This is safe data transfer and you can rest assured that absolutely no one will be able to access your personal details.

What about confirmation?
Due to the nature of our 'Car Rental' contracts, we can only confirm reservations for you once we have received your credit card details, however we will only charge your card at the start of the car rental period.

ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

When you visit a Strawberry Autos web site or send e-mails to us, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications from us electronically. We will communicate with you by e-mail or by posting notices on this site. You agree that all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing.

Strawberry Autos and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. Occasionally, for reasons beyond our control, pricing inaccuracies or other errors may be generated. So all reservations submitted through the web site are screened prior to our acceptance.

If an items correct price is lower than our stated price, Strawberry Autos will charge the lower amount and confirm your booking.
If an items correct price is higher than our stated price, Strawberry Autos will, at its discretion, either contact you for instructions before confirming your booking or cancel your order and notify you of such cancellation.

We have taken reasonable steps to ensure the information provided by us on this Web site is accurate at the time you view it. However, we cannot and have not checked the accuracy of all information provided by outside sources or by the providers of other information e.g. currency conversion rates, or of other parties linked to or from the Web site.
